This notice explains what personal data Motivation collects when you use this website, why we use it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”).
1. Who we are (the Data Controller)

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as we are not required to under Article 37 GDPR. For any privacy matter you can contact us at the email above.
2. What data we collect and why
a) When you request a proposal or contact us
When you use the “Request a proposal” form or email us, we process the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, company name (for travel agencies and partners), and the details of your travel enquiry (destinations, occasion, pace, party size, notes).
- Purpose: to reply to you, prepare and send you a proposal, and manage the pre-contractual relationship and any resulting service.
- Legal basis: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The form does not transmit anything to a server automatically. It prepares a draft email in your own email programme, which you send yourself. Nothing is sent until you press send.
b) Technical server logs
Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for the time strictly necessary to deliver the site securely and to prevent abuse.
- Purpose: to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and correct operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Cookies and tracking
This website uses no profiling, advertising or analytics cookies, and no tracking technologies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tools. Because we set no non-technical cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required.
Fonts are served directly from this website (self-hosted); they are not loaded from an external font provider, so no data is shared with Google Fonts.
4. Third parties and international transfers
To run the website we rely on a small number of service providers who may process technical data (such as your IP address) strictly to deliver the site:
- Hosting provider (Railway): hosts the website and processes server logs. Servers may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA); where this is the case, transfers are governed by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Image delivery (Unsplash CDN — images.unsplash.com): some photographs are delivered through the Unsplash content-delivery network. To display an image, your browser connects to this network, which necessarily receives your IP address. It does not set cookies through this site. This transfer may involve servers outside the EEA, under equivalent safeguards.
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it for third-party marketing.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and contact data only for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship. If no relationship follows, we delete or anonymise enquiry data within a reasonable period (normally within 24 months). Technical server logs are kept for a short period consistent with security needs.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:

7. Complaints
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), www.garanteprivacy.it, or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
8. Is providing data mandatory?
Providing your data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide the information requested in the contact or proposal form, we may be unable to reply to your enquiry or prepare a proposal for you. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this notice from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
